The Palco Central project is born out of the desire to bring artists, musicians, plays, dance and performances, especially those who produce here alongside us, in our city or region, for the stage of Cine-Theatro Central. The intent is that the artists and the audience share the scene. That is, the stage will be open, and people will be able to watch presentations side by side with the day’s attraction in an intimate way, creating a new way to share and experience space.
The proposal, made and produced jointly between the teams of the UFJF Pro-Rector of Culture and the Cine-Theatro Central, with the approval of the Board of Directors, was created to serve all egalitarians, with tickets distributed free of charge or with collection with popular values.
Intending to continue with the activities and expand, the project already has a registration form for the occupation calendar of the next year, being able to receive registrations for presentations of music, visual arts, theater, performances and literature, as well as for lectures, exhibitions, seminars and workshops.
Shows will be held once a month, on the first Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
The forms must be sent by e-mail (cinetheatrocentral@ufjf.edu.br) or delivered in person at the Cine-Theatro Central office from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., from Tuesday to Friday.
